Undergraduate Degree Programs: Bachelor of Business Administration Graduate Programs: Master of Business Administration Master of General Studies MBA Programs UNW offers prospective students a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive business education, without the need to take an expensive leave of absence from ones career. Our nine-to-thirteen month condensed MBA programs are offered through our distance learning department and involve no formal classroom time or campus visits. Upon entering the MBA program, students identify their specialization and complete several core courses in their chosen area of specialization. Specialist courses are designed to advance the students knowledge further than more generalist programs. The Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration offers graduate study in 24 areas of specialization:
Ph. D. Programs: Our Doctoral program is designed for graduates who will make significant contributions to knowledge in their fields of specialization. The program is rigorous and the intellectual challenge considerable. Students receive individual attention from the start and often collaborate in serious research with faculty members. The University of Northern Washington offers doctoral study in the following areas of specialization: Business Administration Specialization in: Accounting Applied Engineering Specialization in: Mechanical Engineering
Science Specialization in: Physics

For those who seek depth of knowledge in Business, Management, or Public Administration, but prefer not to pursue a graduate degree in its entirety, the University of Northern Washington offers graduate level certificates in almost all programs. Certificate programs are every bit as rigorous as their graduate degree counterparts, with certificate-seeking students often enrolling in identical courses as degree candidates. Students admitted to the certificate programs are not required to hold a bachelors degree. Students successfully completing 18 credits in their chosen field of study, including passing all examinations, may apply to transfer into a graduate degree program. |
